06 Days : Bagdogra - Darjeeling - Mirik Lake - Gangtok
Gangtok means, aptly enough hill top , and this little capital of Sikkim is perched at 5,500 feet, high on the ridge of a valley. It lies comfortably between the borders of Nepal and Bhutan at an altitude of 1547 m above sea level, and is famous for its numerous important monasteries and picturesque Himalayan views.
Day 01 : Bagdogra - Darjeeling
On arrival meeting and assistance at Bagdogra airport and straight drive to Darjeeling. On arrival check-in at Hotel . Afternoon free to explore the town . Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : In Darjeeling
Early morning at 3.30 start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and it’s amazing Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is followed by full day local sightseeing covering Padmaja and Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetian Refugee Self-help Center and visit to all the local market (City Life). Enjoy the historical Toy Train ride, provided the train is running for the day. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Darjeeling - Mirik Lake - Darjeeling
Full day excursion to Mirik . Enjoy the boating on Mirik lake and visit the Tea Garden. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Darjeeling - Gangtok
Morning depart by surface to Gangtok. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon free to explore the surroundings. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : In Gangtok
Morning starts with the full day sightseeing in and around this capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan ,Stupa, Institute of Tibetology and Institute of Handicrafts and Handlooms & Rumtek Monastery, the seat of the Kagyupa sect of Buddhism. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06 : Gangtok - Bagdogra & Depart
Morning transfer to Bagdogra airport / NJP railway station to board flight/train for onward destination.
