Kochi - Munnar - Anamudi - Munnar - Periyar - Kumarakom - Alleppey - Kochi
It's a tour consisting of innumerable lagoons, lakes, canals and the deltas of forty-four rivers that drain into the Arabian Sea. The largest backwater stretch in Kerala is the Vembanad lake which flows through three districts and opens out into the sea at the Kochi port.The Ashtamudi Lake (literally, having eight arms), which covers a major portion of Kollam district in the south, is the second largest and is considered the gateway to the backwaters.
Day 01 : Arrive Kochi
Arrival at Kochi (Cochin) meeting & assistance by our representative and escorted transfer to Hotel . Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02 : Kochi - Munnar
Morning depart by surface to Munnar, enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon city tour which includes the Raja Malai - a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats). Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Munnar - Anamudi - Munnar
Morning visiting tea plantations, Anamudi, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam, Mattupetty, Pallivasal, Pothamedu, Attukal etc. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Munnar - Periyar
Morning depart by surface to Periyar, on the way visiting Idukki dam. On arrival check in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : In Periyar
Morning boating through Periyar lake - Wildlife sanctuary. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06 : Periyar - Kumarakom
Morning depart by surface to Kumarakom. On arrival check-in at Hotel . Afternoon visit the Bird Sanctuary. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07 : Kumarakom - Alleppey ( Houseboat )
Morning transfer to Jettey to enjoy the overnight cruise toward Alleppey. board HouseboaToday also you will be cruising through the backwaters of Kerala and stay overnight in the Houseboat.
Day 08 : Alleppey - Kochi
Disembark the boat and straight drive to Kochi. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 : Depart Kochi
In time transfer to airport to board the flight for onward destination.
