The Kabini river, the grasslands and the tropical forests offer unlimited hours of birdwatching, which include ospreys, vultures, falcons, eagles, buzzards, ducks, geese, partridges, fowl, bee-eaters, Barking Deer, Mouse Deer, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Wild Boar, Blacknaped Hare, Indian Porcupine, Pangolin, Giant Squirrel, Large Brown Flying Squirrel, Giant Fruit Bat, Slender Loris, Hanuman Langur, Bonnet Macaque, Sloth Bear, Wild Dog, Leopard and the Tiger.

Together covering more than 1,500 km2of visually vibrant vistas all around, Nagarahole and Bandipur are visitor's delight.Nagarahole: Nagarahole, pronounced Naagra-holay, is spread over 640 km2 and was the private hunting preserve of the princely state of Mysore. The forests are tropical mixed deciduous and semi-evergreen with scrub and grassy swamplands (haldus). The teak forests of Nagarahole include some of the oldest plantations of the country dating back to 1800s. In 1974 an irrigation dam was built across Kabini river creating a water-body that forms a natural boundary between Nagarahole and Bandipur.Bandipur: While the jungles of Nagarahole are taller and denser, Bandipur has superb scenery of mountains, gorges and tropical mixed deciduous forest. The forests of Bandipur have been protected for over a hundred years and a small area was declared a sanctuary as long ago as 1898. Today the National Park defends 875 kms of lush countryside at the junction of the Deccan Plateau and the outer spurs of the Western Ghats.Mouse Deer
Birds: The Nagarahole-Bandipur region is rich territory for birdwatchers and provides ample opportunity for new discoveries and adding to the current list. The Kabini river, the grasslands and the tropical forests offer unlimited hours of birdwatching, which include ospreys, vultures, falcons, eagles, buzzards, ducks, geese, partridges, fowl, bee-eaters, minivets, thrushes and trogons among others.
Mammals: Southern National Parks are ruled by the "jolly jumbos" but other animals include Barking Deer, Mouse Deer, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Wild Boar, Blacknaped Hare, Indian Porcupine, Pangolin, Giant Squirrel, Large Brown Flying Squirrel, Giant Fruit Bat, Slender Loris, Hanuman Langur, Bonnet Macaque, Sloth Bear, Wild Dog, Leopard and the Tiger. Some other animals are Striped Hyena, Jackal, Jungle Cat, Leopard Cat, Rusty spotted Cat and the Common Otter.
Reptiles: Some of the reptiles found in the area the Marsh Crocodile, Monitor Lizard, Rock Python, Rat Snake, Common Krait, Russel's Viper and Bamboo Pit Viper.

Day 02 : Bangalore - Bannerghatta - Bangalore Morning enjoy a wild adventure in Bannerghatta National Park. The park is a unique relocation area for tigers and lions rescued from circuses in India. See tigers, lions, leopards, elephants, various species of deer and other animals on safari tours within the park. The reptile house, Snake Park and children's corner are other attractions for tourists. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Bangalore - Mysore Morning depart by surface to Mysore. On arrival check in at Hotel. Afternoon city tour, visiting the Mysore Palace, Chamundi hills -Towering over the city are the Brindavan Gardens. The musical fountains and colorful lights transform this place into a fairyland. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Mysore - Ranganathittu - Mysore Full Day excursion to Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, situated on the banks of the Kaveri River. Enjoy seeing many species of birds including storks, herons, cormorants, egrets, darters, kingfishers and other water birds. Crocodiles and others also live in the water surrounding the six islets. You can travel by boat along the Kaveri River to see the native and migratory birds nesting and feeding in the sanctuary. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : Mysore - Nagarhole Morning depart by surface to Nagarhole wildlife sanctuary, south of Mysore. Arrive and check in into the Tourist camp/lodge. Overnight at the Camp.
Day 06 : In Nagarhole Enjoy a full day's game viewing in Nagarhole National Park. See gaur, various deer, elephants and a leopard or tiger. Overnight at the Wild Camp.
Day 07 : Nagarhole - Bandipur Morning depart by surface to Bandipur National Park. On arrival check in at forest lodge. Overnight at forest lodge.
Day 08 : In Bandipur Enjoy a full day's jungle tour in Bandipur National Park. Here you can see elephants, gaur, different species of deer, monkeys, porcupine, many varieties of birds, monitor lizards, sloth bear, civet cats and leopards and tigers. Overnight at forest lodge.
Day 09 : Bandipur - Ooty Morning depart by surface to Ooty, a beautiful hill station in Tamil Nadu. On arrival check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit the Botanical garden, Doddabetta park, and tea plantations. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 : In Ooty
Full Day excursion to a Toda Tribal village. See the life of the Toda people, who live close to nature. Their handicrafts and hand woven shawls in bright red, white and black colors, make interesting souvenirs of your trip. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 11 : Ooty - Bangalore - Depart
In time transfer to Bangalore airport to board flight for onward destination.
