Kathmadu - Kodari - Nalayam - Paigutso- Saga - Paryanga-Mansarovar - Darchen- Daripuk - Zuthulphuk.
Kailash Mansarovar is the perfect mountain valley and the lake with awesome beauty. It is the spiritual entry for Tibetan, Buddhism, Hinduism, the Jain religion. The Hindus believe that to plunge into the freezing cold waters of the Lake Manasarovar and walk around its circumference is to erase a whole lifetime of sins. Some people believe that they can negate their wrong doings through walking around. An abode of Lord Shiva and goddess Parvati.
Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu
On arrival meeting & assistance and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : In Kathmandu
Full day at leisure to obtain Chinese Visa. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Kathmadu - Kodari - Nalayam
Morning drive to the frontier town of Nepal at Kodari. From here, a short walk to the friendship bridge for the drive on a local vehicle to Zhangmu. In Zhangmu, guide from our Tibetan counterpart will receive you. After all the formalities at the check post here, our journey continues, overnight stay at Nyalam. The lodges and guesthouses here are very simple and basic. Overnight in Guesthouse.
Day 04 : Nalayam - Paigutso
Morning drive to the first pass of Lelung La. From here a superb view of the high Himalayas can be seen from Gaurishanker, Shisapangma to Langtang Himal. Drive to Paigutso. Overnight in Camp.
Day 05 : Paigutso - Saga
After breakfast depat by surface to Saga, through the windswept territory passing many villages. After 6-7 hours of drive brings us to Saga 115 Kms. for the overnight in Camp.
Day 06 : Saga - Paryanga
After breakfast depart by surface to Paryanga, 185 kms/7-8 hrs. drive. Overnight in Camp.
Day 07 : Paryanga - Mansarovar
After breakfast depart by surface to Mansarover, 250 kms./7-8 Hrs. Overnight in Camp.
Day 08 : Mansarovar - Darchen
Morning Mansarover Parikarma by Jeep. Time Permitting visit Chui Gompa. Afternoon Drive to Darchen. Darchen is located beneath the majestic holy Mount Kailash. Darchen,the beginning and end point of the Kora. Overnight at Guest House in Darchen.
Day 09 : Darchen - Daripuk
After breakfast depart by surface to Tarboche, the trek starting point of Kailash Parikrama. The trail leads us to few ups and downs till we reach our camp at Dirapuk (4,750 m.), after 5-6 hours walk. Camping on the nice grassy meadows with a view of Kailash, northwest face. Overnight in Camp.
Day 10 : Daripuk - Zuthulphuk
Today the circumbulation (Kora) leads too much higher side of the holy path just beneath the Mount Kailash. The walk will bring us to one of the highest point at Drolma La, before descending to the gradual field towards Zuthulphuk for the overnight camp after 5-6 hours walk. Overnight in Camp.
Day 11 : Zuthulphuk - Mansarovar
The winding gradual track finally ends the holy pilgrimage walk (5 hours). Drive to Lake Mansarover. Overnight in Camp .
Day 12 : Mansarovar - Paryang
After breakfast depart by surface to Paryang. (4750m/ 223km/ 5-6 hrs). Overnight in Camp.
Day 13 : Paryang - Saga
After breakfast depart by surface to Saga. (255km). Overnight in Camp.
Day 14 : Saga - Nilayam
After breakfast depart by surface to Nyalam. Overnight in Camp.
Day 15 : Nilayam - Kathmandu
After breakfast depart by surface to Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 16: Depart Kathmandu
In time transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
