Agra, the most romantic city in India, is famous for the marble edifice 'Taj Mahal' hued in the eternal beauty that is immortal. Besides Taj Mahal, Agra is known for the Agra Fort and the Fatehpur Sikri, the red sandstone city made by Emperor Akbar.
Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Garlanding on arrival, meeting and assistance at the airport & transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : In Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast sightseeing tour of New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British Empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, Red fort, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Day 03 : Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur
Sikri - Jaipur
Early morning transfer to railway station to board the train for Agra , Arrive Agra & proceed to city tour visiting Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Besides the Taj, the Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort) makes an interesting sight. Other major attractions include the tomb of Akbar’ s tomb at Sikandra, Rambagh, the Mughal Garden and Dayal Bagh Temple, Itmad Ud Dauula. Besides the historical monuments, one can also explore Agra’ s Handicraft . Afternoon drive to Jaipur en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri- a perfectly preserved red sandstone ghost town which was the estranged capital of Mughal emperor Akbar built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. On arrival transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : In Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amer Fort with Elephant ride - Amber is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachhwaha clan of Amber, which used to be the capital, till it was moved to Jaipur. The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and looks even more attractive because of the Maota Lake in the foreground. The fort in itself is a beautiful sight to behold but as one looks on the fort with its clear reflection on the lake in the front; one cannot help but wonder if it is a dream or a beautiful illusion.
Afternoon city tour visiting City Palace , the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajasthani forts and gives a grand view of the city down below. Other attractions include the Jaigarh Fort, Birla Mandir, and Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh. Overnight at Hotel
Day 05 : Jaipur - Goa
Morning transfer to airport to board flight for Goa. Arrive Goa & transfer to hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06 : In Goa
After breakfast, proceed on a half day sightseeing tour of Goa, visiting Miramar Beach, Basilica of Bom Jesus and the city of Panjim- bustling with shops and tourists. The afternoon is free to relax on the beach. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07 : In Goa
Day at leisure. Laze on the beach, go for swim, explore the shops for cashew nuts, buy holiday wear. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08 : Goa – Delhi - Bombay
In time transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi or Bombay.
