Spiti the middle country is a part of western Himalayas, a barren and uncompromising land that is world in its own country. This is a mountainous area that is located between Ladakh and Tibet in the north and the Kullu valley in the south. Lahaul begins 51km north of Manali, right after crossing the 3978m (13,127 ft) Rohtang Pass.
TREKKING IN LAHUL AND SPITI
Spiti is bounded by Ladakh in the north in the south by Kullu and east by Tibet and west by Kinnaur. This snow land can be divided into three main valleys, the Spiti, Pin and Lingti valleys drained by Spiti, Pin and Lingti Rivers.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi - Kalka
On arrival at Delhi airport meeting & assistance and transfer to railway station to board train for Kalka. On arrival at Kalka straight drive to Shimla, On arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : In Shimla
Full day visit Shimla including visit to Jakhu temple. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Shimla - Kalpa
Morning depart by surface to Kalpa, On arrival check-in at Hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the surroundings. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Kalpa - Tabo - Kaza
Morning visit lKalpa . Afternoon depart by surface to Tabo/ Kaza en-route visit Lahul - Spiti. On arrival check in to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : In Tabo - Kaza
Full day visit Tabo & Kaza, Overnight at Hotel.
Day : 06 : Tabo - Kaza - Manali
Morning depart by surface to Manali, On arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: In Manali
Morning half day sightseeing of Manali, Evening free at leisure. Over night at Hotel.
Day 08 : Manali – Kalka - Depart
Morning depart by surface to Kalka Railway station to board train for onward destination.
