05 Days: Paro - Thimpu - Dochuila
Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon, is no ordinary place. This is a country where buying cigarettes is illegal, where the rice is red and where chillies aren’t just a seasoning but the entire dish. It’s also a deeply Buddhist land, where men wear a tunic to work, where giant protective penises are painted on the walls of most houses, and where Gross National Happiness is deemed more important than Gross National Product. Tourism in Bhutan is also unique.
Day 01 : Arrive Paro - Thimpu
On arrival at Paro airport, immigration and custom formalities and then received by our representative and drive to Thimphu. On arrival check -in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : In Thimpu
After breakfast visit thimpu valley form BBs tower, Mini Zoo, Anim ratshang(nunnery),National Libarary and paper factory,Memorial Chorten. Afternoon visit School of art and Craft (former painting school 2-4 P.M),Zangthopelrie, Lhakhang,Handicrafts Emporium and Tashichodzong Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Thimpu - Dochuila - Paro
Morning depart by surface to Paro, enroute visit Dochula pass (alt of 3150m) and Simtokha Dzong , the oldest fortress of the Kingdom. After visit continue drive & on arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : In Paro
After breakfast visit the Drukgyel Dzong. On the way,view peak of Mountain Jhomolhari (7312m), covered with snow throughout the year, later visit Kyichu lhakhong visit National museum. If time permites visit/hike to Takrshang monastery. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : Depart Paro
In time transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
