Nubra Valley, the valley of flowers is a heavenly place of Leh, it’s the capital of Ladakh. Ldumra or a place of floral gardens is situated in the form of a coloured bowl. You enjoy the kissing breeze while entering the Nubra valley, cross over the Shyok River and you can pick the golden shells at the banks of river. Admire the pious Monasteries where red clad Buddhists are busy in worship. Assume if you are touching the sky at this altitude.
Nubra Valley is situated about 150 km north of Leh, the capital town of Ladakh, India. Its name is derived from Ldumra (the valley of flowers). The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. above the sea level. The common way to access this valley is to travel over the Khardung La from Leh where one will first encounter the Shyok Valley.
