Backwaters are an amazing phenomenon of Kerala - a necklace of lagoons lakes, canals and rivers that run through the length of this beautiful land. In fact much of Kerala's uniqueness lies in its backwaters - found nowhere else in the world.
Visit to the backwater destinations of Kumarakom, Kollam and Kozhikode can be a most rewarding experience. The lagoons at these destinations with their spectacular view and fringed by coconut trees have been featured in travel books all over the world. No journey to the backwaters is complete without a stay on board a "Kettuvallam" or a houseboat which takes you on a journey through the length and breadth of the lagoons and waterways
Day 01 : Arrive Cochin
On arrival. Meeting and assistance and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon city tour of Cochin visiting the old churches , Synagogue and local market enjoy the harbour cruise . Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : Cochin - Mettupalayam
After breakfast depart by surface to Mettupalayam . On arrival check-in at Hotel . Afternoon visit the Black Thunder amusement Park . Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Mettupalayam - Ooty
After breakfast depart by surface to Ooty. On arrival check-in at Hotel . Rest of the day at leisure to explore the surroundings .Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : In Ooty
Full day free to enjoyed the beautiful landscape of Ooty . Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : Ooty - Vythiri
After breakfast depart by surface to Vythiri. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the surrounding. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06 : In Vythiri
After breakfast visit the Tholpetty Wild life Sanctuary . Afternoon at leisure . Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07 : Vythiri - Calicut & Depart
After breakfast depart by surface to Calicut airport/railway station to board flight/train for onward destination.
