The Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands consisting of about 293 islands (39 of which are inhabited) is situated in the Bay of Bengal. Andaman group of islands consists of North Andaman, Middle Andaman. South Andaman and Little Andaman besides many smaller islands. Nicobar group of islands comprises Great Nicobar, Car Nicobar, Nancowry, Katchal and Chowra. The headquarters of this Union Territory is at Port Blair, situated in South Andaman Island. The topography of the islands is hilly & they abound in evergreen forests. Timber is plentiful and of a vast variety. The white sandy beaches have a back drop of luxuriant greenery & in the clear blue waters of the lagoons enclosed by coral reefs is an underwater world full of fish of every possible variety.
Day 01 : Arrive Port Blair
On arrival at Port Blair in the morning by flight, you will be received and transfer to your hotel. In afternoon, leisure visit to Corbyn’s Cove Beach. In the evening attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail, where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : Visit Ross Island
In the morning start for a full day tour by boat to visit Ross Island from where Britishers governed the entire Andaman and Nicobar Island, prior to Indias Independence. Then visit to North Bay Island (Coral Island) a ideal spot for coral viewing by glass bottom boat (Optional activity: Snorkeling). Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Tour of places in and around Port Blair
In the morning start for a tour of places in and around Port Blair - covering the Cellular Jail, Chatham Saw Mill (one of the oldest and largest in Asia), Mini Zoo, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries Museum, Science Centre, Naval Marine Museum and Cottage Industries Emporium. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Depart Port Blair
In time transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
