Begusarai

Begusarai emerged as a separate district in 1972 when it was separated from the Munger district. Begusarai is located in the central part of North Bihar.

Begusarai extends perpendicularly from east to west which used to be a main link road. The district is bounded by Samastipur on the north, on the south by the Ganga and the Lakhisarai district, on the east by Khagaria and Munger and on the west by the Samastipur and Patna districts.
