The Chambal Garden is a spectacularly lovely landscaped garden around the Amar Niwas and it is a splendid place to have picnics.
The Maharao Madho Singh Museum is also within the Kota-Chambal area, within the Guna District. Located within the old palace, this is a museum that holds magnificent sculptures, an exquisite collection of miniature Rajput paintings, and a good number of personal belongings of many Kota rulers, armoury and Frescoes.
The Kota-Chambal area also is the home of the breath taking Brijvilas Palace by the banks of Kishore Sagar.
