Hathras
Hathras is the administrative headquarters of Hathas District, Uttar Pradesh. It is a prominent commercial and agricultural trade center of the district. Hathras is 53 km north of Agra.Special Holidays with very attractive and discounted packages and hotel bookings.

Hathras derives its name after Hathras Devi and the settlement is thought to be as old as the times of Mahabharat. Archaeological remains unearthed from here underline this aspect. It was ruled by the Kushans, Guptas, Rajputs and the Marathas before the British wrested control in 1817. Hathras remained with them until India’s independence in 1947.

Hathras is famous for its brass handicrafts and carpets, which are exported in a large scale. Major point of attraction in the town is the old Raja Dayaram fort.
