Manipur literally meaning "A jeweled land" nestle deep within a lush green corner of North East India. Nesting in the slopes of the south flowing Sub-Himalayan ranges in the north east of India at the latitude 23.80 N to 25.68 N and longitude 93.03 E to 94.78E, lies my home state, Manipur. With seven beautiful ranges of hills surrounding a valley of some seven hundred square miles - the Imphal valley.
