ROCK GARDEN

ROSE GARDEN
Zakir Hussain Rose Garden Asia's largest Rose Garden and is spreaded over 30 acres of land having over 1600 different species or roses. These have been planted beautifully carved out lawns and flowers beds. Like the cultural zone which is just across the road in sector 10,this was also planned by Dr. M.S. Randhawa as his interest in horticulture and fondness for flowers was profuse. Every year, either at the end of February or beginning of March, a big festival known as Rose Festival, is celebrated at this garden. Over 20,000 people visit this festival. Bougainvillea Garden
The garden is devoted to hundreds of bougainvillea varieties. The creepers cover a wide assortment of arches, bowers, pavilions and arcades. Fitness Trails wind through this garden, designed to give each person who completes the route a complete exercise regimen by the time they reach the end. The annual Bougainvillea Show is held here. It is open on all days and is spread over twenty acres in sector 10.
Children's Traffic Park
This park has been designed for children, keeping in mind safety from speeding traffic and is used by them to learn cycling and road safety. Concrete paths are laid out through out the park to form "roads and intersections" and are furnished with all sorts of road signs. It is open on all days. Shanti Kunj

Terrace Garden
A small valley running the length of the sector 33 has been developed into a terraced flower garden. It is also used as a garden by people for taking walks. There is an illuminated musical fountain here and is also the venue for the annual Chrysanthemum Show.
