10 Days : Delhi - Haridwar - Ghat - Ramni - Jhenjhenpatni - Pana - Dakwani - Gailgarh - Tapoban - Joshimath - Rishikesh
Dreamt of a getaway in the Himalayas? You just got it here! Our jumbo 10 days trekking expedition package will let you revel in the best of what the land of the Gods has to offer. Conveniently starting with Delhi airport pick-up, the 10 days will let take you mystical places like Ramni, Tapoban and Joshimath.
Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (225 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast depart by surface to Haridwar. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Temples. In the evening enjoy the spectacular view of 'Aarti' at Har ki Pauri. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : Haridwar - Ghat (236 km / 8-9 hrs )
After breakfast depart by surface Tent, At the confluence of River Nandakini with River Alaknanda we turn to another beautiful valley carved by the River Nandakini and reach Ghat. On the way we have our Lunch. We arrive Ghat by evening and check-in our Tents. Dinner and overnight stay in the Tent.
Day 03 : Ghat - Ramni (1982 m) (10 km trek)
After breakfast we start our trek. On the way we have our Lunch (Packed) and then start walking to reach Ramni village. We camp away from the houses on a ridge. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in the Tent.
Day 04 : Ramni - Jhenjhenpatni (1524 m) (13 km trek)
After breakfast we start our trek from Ramni through thick forests, encountering trees of walnut, chestnut and troops of langur executing spectacular leaps through the foliage. This is among the thickest forests you are likely to see in the Himalaya. We stop on the way to have our Lunch (Packed) and by afternoon reach Jhenjhenpatni. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in the Tent.
Day 05 : Jhenjhenpatni - Pana (2043 m) (12 km trek)
After breakfast we start our trek for Pana. The climb is steeper and the also forest continues. En route we have Lunch (Packed), and later reach the twin villages of Pana-Irani. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in the Tent.
Day 06 : Pana - Dakwani (3552 m) (8 km trek)
After breakfast we again start our trek. We stop for Lunch (Packed) as usual at some beautiful spot and later reach Dakwani. If we are lucky, we can actually sight Himalayan bears here. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in the Tent.
Day 07 : Dakwani - Kauri Pass (4268 m) (5 km trek) - Gailgarh (5 km trek )
After breakfast we start our trek with a steady climb that will take us the top of Kuari Pass. It is suggested and would be worthwhile to make a very early start and be on the Pass before 6.00 AM to have the best view, before the rising morning mists block our view of the panorama of snow clad mountains. After crossing the Pass 5 km downhill trek to meadows of Gailgarh. On reaching Gailgarh we will treat ourselves with hot Lunch. Evening at leisure. Dinner and Overnight stay in the Tent.
Day 08 : Gailgarh - Tapoban (1829 m) (10 km trek) - Joshimath (15 km drive)
After breakfast we explore the environs of the seemingly endless meadows. After early lunch we trek all the way down to Tapoban through the forest. From Tapovan we drive 15 km to Joshimath. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 09 : Joshimath - Rishikesh (250 km / 9-10 hrs)
After breakfast, we drive at 0800 hrs to Rishikesh, upon arrival assistance and check-in the Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 : In Rishikesh
Morning transfer to Delhi airport to board flight for onward destination.
